Summary: PointHeure respects your privacy. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store or share any personal information.
1. Introduction
PointHeure ("we", "our", "the app") is a work-hours tracking application designed with your privacy as the top priority.
This privacy policy explains how we handle (or rather, do not handle) your information when you use our application.
2. Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
PointHeure works entirely offline and stores all information locally on your iPhone:
- Your clock-in and clock-out times
- Your settings (weekly goal, work days)
- Your projects and work locations
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
3. Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is:
- Protected by iOS native encryption
- Accessible only by the PointHeure app
- Included in your iCloud backups (if enabled)
- Automatically deleted if you uninstall the app
4. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties.
Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing to share. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.
5. Third-Party Services
PointHeure does not use any third-party service that could collect data:
- No Google Analytics
- No Facebook SDK
- No Firebase
- No advertisements
6. Location (Optional)
If you enable the optional automatic clock-in by location feature:
- Your location is used only to detect your arrival at / departure from your workplace
- This data stays on your device
- No location data is sent to our servers (we have none)
- You can disable this feature at any time
7. In-App Purchases
PointHeure offers optional subscriptions and a lifetime purchase processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment information.
8. Security
We follow security best practices:
- Privacy-by-design architecture
- No server means no risk of data breach
- iOS native encryption
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain data-protection rights (including under the GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws). Because all data is stored exclusively on your device:
- Access: All your data is visible inside the app
- Correction: You can edit any entry
- Deletion: Uninstall the app to delete all data
- Portability: Export is available in settings
Since we do not store any data on our servers, exercising these rights is immediate and entirely under your control.
10. Children
PointHeure is not intended for children under 13. The app does not collect any data, including from minors.
11. Changes
We may update this privacy policy. In case of significant changes, we will notify you through the app.
